New developments fuel private home sales in August

Private home sales surged in August, reaching the highest level since November last year. A total of 2,142 units were sold, excluding executive condominiums. This is more than 120 per cent from July and more than 10 times the same month last year. Analysts say the strong sales were driven by five new project launches.
